About Suzanne

Suzanne Harris is a writer, editor and writing coach/consultant living in Edmonton, Alberta. An experienced public relations practitioner, she has been writing professionally for over 18 years, producing a broad variety of work including speeches, media releases, backgrounders, brochures, technical manuals, annual reports, articles, fiction and poetry.

She has garnered a number of writing awards and her creative work has been broadcast on radio and published in magazines and e-zines.

Suzanne served as president of the Canadian Authors Association Alberta Branch 2005-2007, chair of the Marketing and Communications Committee on the national board of the Canadian Authors Association 2007-2008, and was the coordinator of CanWrite! 2008, a national writing conference.

She has been working as a communications officer with the Edmonton Arts Council since autumn 2010.
